UNS S32100/EN 1.4541/ASTM A269 TP321 Seamless Coiled Tubing

Shanghai Toko Tech Co., Ltd. is a professional manufacturer and supplier of high-performance special alloy pipes and components. Its 321 (UNS S32100) and 321H (UNS S32109) seamless coiled tubing are titanium-stabilized austenitic stainless steels specifically designed for elevated temperature service, offering excellent resistance against sensitization and intergranular corrosion.

Key Features & Advantages:

Excellent High-Temperature Stability: The addition of Titanium (Ti) stabilizes the alloy against chromium carbide precipitation during exposure to temperatures in the sensitization range (800°F – 1500°F / 427°C – 816°C). This makes it ideal for continuous high-temperature service.

Resistance to Intergranular Corrosion: The stabilized composition (Ti content ≥ 5xC) ensures superior resistance to intergranular attack after welding or heating, without the need for post-weld heat treatment.

Good Oxidation Resistance: Exhibits excellent scaling resistance at temperatures up to 900°C (1650°F) in intermittent service and 925°C (1700°F) in continuous service.

Higher Creep and Stress-Rupture Strength (321H): The 321H grade has a controlled higher carbon content (0.04-0.10%), which provides improved high-temperature strength compared to 321.

Seamless & Continuous Length: The seamless structure ensures higher integrity and pressure resistance. The long coiled length simplifies installation in complex heating systems.

Difference Between 321 and 321H:

The primary difference is the carbon content:

321 (UNS S32100): C ≤ 0.08%

321H (UNS S32109): C = 0.04-0.10% (Higher carbon for enhanced strength at high temperatures)

Typical Specifications (Customizable):

Material Grade:

321: UNS S32100 / EN 1.4541 / ASTM A269 TP321

321H: UNS S32109 / ASTM A269 TP321H

Outer Diameter (O.D.): φ3 mm ~ φ22 mm (Common range for coils)

Wall Thickness (W.T.): 0.5 mm ~2.0 mm (Varies with O.D.)

Coil Length: Several hundred meters per continuous coil (exact length depends on O.D. and W.T.)

Standard: ASTM A269, ASTM A213, etc.

Primary Applications:

This tubing is specifically designed for high-temperature and corrosive environments, including:

Heat Exchangers & Condensers: Tubes and piping for heat exchange systems.

Boiler Components: Superheater and reheater tubes, boiler shells in power generation and industrial boilers.

Aerospace Industry: Engine exhaust systems, manifold systems, and other high-temperature components.

Chemical Processing: Equipment and piping for processing chemicals at elevated temperatures.

Oil & Gas Refining: Furnace parts, pyrolysis tubes, and other refinery applications.

Automotive: Exhaust systems and other hot-end components.

Why Choose TOKO TECH’s 321/321H Coiled Tubing?

TOKO TECH ensures consistent quality through strict process control. The production includes solution annealing and 100% non-destructive testing (Eddy Current or Ultrasonic) to ensure integrity. The coils are protected with VCI (Vapor Corrosion Inhibitor) packaging or other anti-rust methods.

In summary, TOKO TECH’s 321/321H seamless coiled tubing provides a reliable solution for high-temperature applications requiring excellent resistance to sensitization, intergranular corrosion, and oxidation. The availability in long, continuous coils offers significant installation advantages for complex thermal systems.
